Magic Tricks for Hominids
Yes, I pose.
I suppose.
Who doesn't?
Whenever I write, I am defining my thesis statement: what scope will I be seen from?
I write because I need to feel understood; at least by myself.
I do it publicly because I harness my evolutionary history.
How many times have we rediscovered the universe (and ourselves within it)?
Here I show what I mean...
"Nothing Is Literally True"
Nothing is literally true.
By attempting to make it a profound statement,
The rephrasing "nothing is literary true" surfaced from the depths of the mind.
In other words,
Truth cannot be defined with accuracy and precision
Not while using our language's vocabulary.
Thus, there is no element to our writing,
At least none we can discern,
That can be truly correct.
Correctness is more of a habit ingrained in our minds.
What could an organism want the truth for?
Well, obviously, we want it all for the (objectively) correct reason:
Performing magic tricks for hominids.
Magic tricks for hominids.
In a blink of an eye we go to space, travel by car, and split atoms;
We desire to break from the physical, chemical, biological, philosophical,
and mere logical laws as soon as we can name them.
We glimpse into the blackest hole and reverse-engineer universal laws.
All whilst ignoring the obnoxious cries of our dying symbionts in our changing planet.
We are dumb, and imperfect too, but mostly unique.
Unique to a flaw, yet inevitable for this beautiful leakage of entropy.
Historically-situated organic chemistry.
Philosophical sub-particle physics.
Literary truths in literal artistic truths.
Keep contradicting by existing
Remain kindred to the fundamental [unword].
